Welcome to the ineedhits Search Engine Marketing blog, where we share the latest search engine and online marketing news, releases, industry trends and great DIY tips and advise.
One of the key strategies for an effective SEO campaign is competitor tracking. Knowing who is out ranking you and what they’re doing to achieve the results is the key to improving your performance.

Hi Rene,
I just ‘Stumbled Upon’ your article. Thanks for posting this - there were a couple here I was unaware of. I second Spyfu - great service.
Another good one that I use all the time is SEMrush (http://semrush.com/?ref=424437869). It isn’t free, but well worth the $200 a year for all the insight it provides. Among other things, it allows the user to identify all the keyword phrases that a site ranks for in google, and easy export to Excel. It also offers tools to determine a site’s PPC keyword activities.
