Pay Per Click Search engines FindWhat and Espotting (which merged some 18 months ago in a long winded buyout) are set to rebrand their distribution network. The company’s pay per click, pay per call and Adrevene Express (a self service contextual advertising network similar to Google Adsense) will be under the new brand of Miva Media. This is expected to be complete by end of June.
Miva’s ecommerce service will also receive a facelift, becoming Miva Small Business. Miva Small Business is built on the Miva Merchant platform, which provides a hosted merchant storefront, payment processing, logistics management and professional services aimed at the small to medium business.
Despite the rebranding exercise, the challenge is still on for Miva Media to deliver quality traffic to its advertisers that provides a positive ROI.
The company’s symbol on the NASDAQ will also change to “MIVA” on June 13th 2005.
