Google’s local business listings (now called place pages) have just been added to Google street view, giving business owners additional exposure for users exploring a specific location. This now means Google users can find your business across all levels of Google maps!

Here’s how the changes look from within street view on Google maps:

From the tests I’ve done, you may notice that some markers are slightly inaccurate, but it’s usually pretty easy to search around and find where the business is located.

Adding business listings to street view has a couple of major benefits for business owners:

1. Customers who are exploring a local area in street view can now discover your location and get more information on your business without having to zoom out to a map level view.
2. It will be easier for customers to accurately locate your business by drilling down from map listings to street view.
