The search merger between Yahoo! and Bing may finally have an integration date thanks to a timeline which is being sent to advertisers. The timeline identifies August 2010 as the date when Bing will start providing organic results for Yahoo, with paid search campaigns making the transition from mid July to the end of October.
Below is a screenshot of the timeline as provided by marketing pilgrim:

One thing Yahoo/Bing have made clear is that they will not extend integration deadlines into the protected holiday season at the end of the year. According to sources from Yahoo, the integration timeframe may be extended until 2011 if the full transition can not be achieved before the holiday period. This is good news for advertisers as it ensures there will not be any issues during holiday season trade.
Please note that if you’re currently advertising with these platforms via our Easy Search Advertising service, ineedhits will be managing the transition for you with no action required on your part.
