Google have gone one step further forward in its control of the search engine market with the introduction of a new option for AdWords campaigns to appear on mobile devices such as the iPhone.
The new option will be visible on mobile devices that have full HTML Internet browers, which actually means you don’t have to modify your ads or landing pages, unlike some other mobile phones.
Inside AdWords Crew member Amanda Kelly, explains more:
“This new option will now allow you to display your ads specifically on these devices, create exclusive campaigns for them, and get separate performance reporting. We hope this option will help you more effectively reach your audience with the right message at the right time.”
This now gives you the flexibility to now create one ad for just people on mobile devices with full browsers that go to one landing page. Then you can create another ad that’s just shown to people on a computer that goes to your regular webpage.
The new option is perfect timing with the busy holiday sales season well under way. Especially when you consider this statistic: last holiday season, the iPhone drove more traffic to Google.com worldwide than any other mobile platform. Bet you could do with this additional traffic and potential sales in these tough economic times?
