There has been quite a bit of hype surrounding the newly designed Google homepage. With millions of people worldwide using the new design since last week, the revamp appears to have been a success.
However, opinion on the design seems to be split – some searchers like it, some searchers hate it. We asked our Facebook fans what they thought of the design. We got such a great response that we wanted to open up the question to all our readers.

It’s never really been anything but a Company Logo (GOOGE) and a search box with options so as far as I am concerned.
What else do you need? Its a Search Engine not a fancy application (On the surface)

Forgot to mention I was in IT for over 40 years becoming an Internet eCommerce entrepeneur.
I have seen the fads come and go from 64K room sized computers to Amstrads (Ray Sugar) to the laptops and PCs of the modern genre.
I can still make them do applications like PayPal control in Visual Basic and they never fall over, ever. We used to test stuff properly before release.
These days the programmers release them for the customers to test them!Roll on perfection. That’s where we used to be.
Some of my applications are still being used in government, banks and private pension depts.

I truly favored Latest Poll: Do You Like Google’s New Homepage Design? | ineedhits. But also remember, greater competition there is for just a keyword, the harder it is to achieve top field.
