iGoogle – Make It Your Google!

It was the subject of many of my blog feeds yesterday, and literally 10 minutes ago it took over my Google Personalized Homepage…I speak of iGoogle – the latest in Google personalization!

Yesterday Google invited reporters and bloggers into their confidence regarding the new iGoogle service, following on from Web History, personalized homepage themes and even changes in Google Local (Maps). iGoogle offers all the Google Personalized services under one umbrella. Marissa Mayer, Google’s vice president, states that Google are “working to bring all this [all Google personalized services] together” and will be “renaming the product iGoogle.”
Admittedly, I am scrambling to find something zany and new in my account – much has been said of the new Google Gadget Maker that “will let you build your own gadgets using wizards. The gadgets are very simple and are more like containers for things that matter to you: photos, videos, events.” Shame that I can’t find the jolly thing!!

So I have the new logo and am eagerly awaiting something more…maybe a laugh – the Google search for iGoogle returned the following!
If you are ‘iGoogling’ let us know of any changes you may have found – once again I’m interested to find out!!
