Blekko, a user contribution friendly search engine, officially released a new set of SEO tools, allowing developers and websites access to incomparable data, primarily for the purpose of improving their web traffic.
The Blekko suite also introduced a new user friendly interface to match the new features. Blekko’s new features include SEO report cards, page analysis, full link reports and instant SEO access from its search engine.
Subscribers of the service have full access to the new features, in addition to the comprehensive data giving them information about their website traffic, helping them better optimize and improve their websites.
As a part of the new feature set, subscribers can now organize their inbound links by category. Blekko’s slash-tag technology assists this feature, by organizing high quality websites by their assigned topic. This allows website owners to see what topics lead the most traffic to their websites.
The SEO report card breaks down the performance of one’s website, evaluated by 45 different factors. These factors get organized under categories such as Content, Performance, Anchors, URL and Links. Blekko SEO report cards also provide a detailed breakdown about site performance.
Blekko’s Sections report gathers data tracking what a search engine crawler indexes on one’s website; it tracks what page sections were viewed, how many were included and excluded.
Blekko Domain Roundup rounds out the last of the previewed features via the Blekko blog; the tool-set tracks one’s web presence through the collection of links, summaries, and timestamps of recent pages that mention one’s domain.
Blekko’s CEO Rich Skrenta stated that the “mission behind Blekko has always been to offer full transparency on the web,” in regards to their debuting premium SEO tools set. He went on to explain that Blekko’s premium SEO tools allow developers unique and privatized data about their web domain content. Blekko’s SEO tools give full data reports, featuring SEO statistics other search engines don’t provide to their end users.
These reports are often used to compare search engine optimization statistics between websites and their corresponding direct SEO access from Blekko search engine results pages or SERPs.
Blekko is one of four companies that actively index the entire web; it regular performs over 120 million searches per month, through 20 billion pages indexed within its system.
The search engine offers a unique user tailored experience, allowing them to categorize their searches in unique, vertical categories.
