ineedhits and Hitwise Form Strategic Alliance to Bring World-Class Search Marketing Tools to Small Businesses

Perth, 12 July 2005. ineedhits, the leading search marketing firm for small businesses and Hitwise, the world’s leading online competitive intelligence service today announce a strategic partnership to offer the Keyword Intelligence service to ineedhits’ customers. After the successful beta launch of the service, ineedhits has been named as Keyword Intelligence’s first affiliate partner.

Developed by Hitwise for small businesses, the Keyword Intelligence service provides search marketers with the ability to generate lists of quality keywords that have been proven to drive traffic to websites in specific industries.

Data included in the Keyword Intelligence product is a sub-set of the extensive search term data and search term analysis features available within the Hitwise Competitive Intelligence service. Both data sets are based on the actual Internet usage of more than 20 Million Internet users and how they successfully use keywords across 80 of the most popular search engines including Google, Yahoo! and MSN.

As more and more marketers use website search engine optimization and paid keyword campaigns to create brand awareness and generate sales, having detailed information on how people use search terms is critical. Marketers can use the data within Keyword Intelligence to identify missing search term opportunities they should capitalize on within their own campaigns.

Our large customer base and knowledge of the SEM market have enabled us to assist Hitwise with marketing the Keyword Intelligence product,” said Jackie Shervington, CEO of ineedhits. “Our discussions with Hitwise began over 12 months ago and we are delighted to have been their beta test partner for this new product. In addition to participating in the Keyword Intelligence beta test phase, ineedhits has launched three new services in 2005. The most recent product innovations include Clicks4Sure, a fixed cost pay-per-click advertising package, and Optimizer Kit Plus, an entry-level optimization and submission package.
